The Caribbean is a region of the Americas, consisting of the Caribbean Sea, its islands and the surrounding coasts. The region is located south-east of North America and east of central America.
The area experiences no great extremes of temperatures. Almost nowhere in the Caribbean has temperatures of over 38 Degrees C/ 100F but rarely falls below 15C in winter.
